About the Candidate
Andrew R. Manno
Andrew R. Manno is a resident of Aurora, Illinois. He is married to his wife, Meghan, and they have one dog, Sebastian. Andrew is a partner at a civil-defense litigation firm in downtown Chicago. He currently serves on the Audit Committee at the College of DuPage where he is tasked with reviewing confidential information about various issues facing the college. He also was recently appointed to the board of directors for NAMI DuPage. Since 2016, Andrew has served as a trial advocacy instructor at UIC Law (formerly the John Marshall Law School). He is also involved as an alumni of Illinois State University where he has worked to mentor students involved in the student government association.
Andrew will bring his experience of advocating on behalf of his clients and his passion for student success to the College of DuPage Board of Trustees. The ability to think critically when dealing with complicated issues while being placed in a position of trust is what makes him uniquely qualified to hold this position. He understands the issues facing COD and will always put the student first. A good board member needs to be a trusted steward of both the taxpayer’s and the student’s dollar, ensuring that both are getting the best bang for their buck. Andrew R.
